Whoo! Going back to my college town to visit one of my friends with my girlfriend on the fourth! Nothing like a roadtrip to a friends on a holiday!
The second staircase looks like you are actually walking on books so much for buying paperback...I spent way too much time staring at the picture, I don't even have a staircase but now I NEED ONE.

Whoa! That is EXACTLY what we need! Well, if we had a second story and therefore a set of stairs, at least. Lately I've been trying to go through and cull out a lot of my books, and it is so difficult. I'd rather just have more storage.

Yeah, after my first book sells a few million copies I think I will build my own bookcase/staircase just like that. Very sharp looking.
