G is for Gluten-free. My mother-in-law brought us some scrumptious gluten-free red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing from Sprinkles Cupcakes. I may get more than one given my family's odd aversion to cream cheese...
My Scholastic bookfair haul...these were just the ones I picked out. My boys both have a couple more in their backpacks. The top left title is The Small Adventure of Popeye and Elvis (a seriously awesome title--it puts me in mind of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn...)
****** My News ******

AUSTEN-TATIOUS. I like that. BIG congrats, Alyssa.
Congratulations! Let the countdown begin!
And for that matter, congrats on getting extra cupcakes. Cream cheese frosting is the best.
Thanks, David and Stacy!
I'll celebrate with another cupcake. :)
Coolest title ever!
We're in autumn down here.
Congratulations on your news!
that first photo is LOVELY!
Thanks, Al and Sarakastic.
I liked it too, Jill! :)
Congrats on the great title! I love the sound of it so much!
Scholastic book fairs! Oh how I miss those!!
Now I want a red velvet cupcake, even though I had a delicious one from a gourmet bakery last week.
Lovely photos - I would have stayed away from the wasps as well.
Congratulations!
Thank you so much, Meagan and Meredith!
