A Happy Glow

This afternoon has been all about brittle.  I'm on my fourth batch of cashew brittle, and really ready to call it quits, so luckily, this is the last of the day.  I need a little Christmas, right this very minute...

So I slipped into my younger son's room to snap a photo of the little Christmas tree he decorated himself, with a few glass balls and a colorful collection of melty-bead ornaments designed and created by him.  I love it.

Thanks for the comment today at BITS. I miss having kids around the house getting into the spirit of the season this time of year. The tree is priceless.

He did a top job on that tree! Better than I could.

My parents used to have to chop off the top of our Christmas trees so they would fit inside the house. They always let me make the cut-off into my own personal little Christmas tree. I LOVED it. So, you're a good mum, creating nice memories for your son!
