My older son made this ornament at Mother's Day Out six years ago. It's one of my favorites. And I have lots of favorites. My tree is jam-packed, particularly since some of the lights went out this year and, rather than delay the tree-decorating any longer, we decided not to use our tree-rotator and just cram everything onto the front. Next year won't be fun.

I can't wait to start creating memories like this with our daughter. Two months to go! :)
I love the higgledy-pigglediness of Christmas trees - cramming all your good memories on there once a year. The beautifully designed, almost architecturally placed decorations just aren't the same.
how cute is that!! I love it
Such a cute ornament! I love decorations with personal stories behind them.
You are going to have so much fun, David!
Allie, you said it perfectly!! Higgledy-pigglediness is lovely. And I carry that quality over into my entire house. :)
Me too, Meredith!
