Recipe by Request

As requested, here is the recipe for Hello Dollys. You will not be disappointed by this super-easy, super-yummy recipe.

Hello Dollys

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees

2. Melt 4 T. of butter or margarine in a 11x7 baking dish. (The recipe says to make sure the sides are coated, but I never do.)

3. Layer the following ingredients in order:

1 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 c. grated coconut
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts (I always use pecans.)

4. Pour one 14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk over everything, making sure it gets into all the nooks and crannies.

5. Bake for 30 minutes or until light golden brown.

6. Loosen from the pan, cool, and cut into squares. (Or don't wait and dive right into the gooey mess.)

Enjoy!

As someone who barely knows where the kitchen is (much less uses it for its intended purpose), 4 T? Tablespoons? Teaspoons? And I assume the c. is cups?

These remind me of a recipe that I have for seven layer bars- they are the same thing- but there is also a layer of butterscotch chips.

ooh and Lucy-
capital T = Tablespoon
small t= teaspoon
