Thursday 13

Thirteen Ponderous Questions for Year 7: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

1. The obvious: Will Harry die?

2. The romance lover in me: Will Ron and Hermione hook-up?

3. What about Harry and Ginny?

4. Will Voldemort die? Will he be vanquished?

5. Is Snape a good guy or a bad one?

6. Will Hogwarts really close? What about Year 7?

7. Is Harry the answer to the prophesy, or is it really Neville?

8. If Hogwarts reopens, who will be the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor?

9. Will Harry go back to Hogwarts (assuming it opens)--will he graduate?

10. What are the 'deathly hallows'?

11. What are the Horcruxes?

12. Is Dumbledore really dead?

13. Will Rowling write any more books about Harry Potter?

All good questions. ALL.
I'm trying not to think too much about it.

I just hope it's better than the last one. HUGELY disappointing, Book Six was. :(

i really need to read these books. I've been watching the movies as they come out, and I've head a lot about what happens, but I don't want the last book ruined for me.

I'm going to have to get these...

I'm going to be out of town the weekend the book comes out and I have this fear that someone's going to spoil it for me before I can get home and open the book.

All great questions! Can't wait to find out the answers!

I appreciate what she's done for fantasy and getting younger kids to read, but must confess: I've only read book 1, and that was this year! Ack. I'm really behind! We haven't even seen the movies (our monsters are still too little to really get it). Happy TT!

Sigh. Unfortunately, I think Harry will die. I've been trying to prepare myself for it.

I think Snape is good--a fascinating character to be sure.

I also think Dumbledore is really gone. I am somewhat comforted by his portrait that was hanging in his office though...

Seen the movie yet? Liked it much better than GOF--not nearly as "choppy".

Great idea for a TT.
1. I don't think he'll die (but that could be wishful thinking)

2. I thought they alread hooked up.

3. Ditto

4. Voldemort has to die. Otherwise the ending can't satisfy.

5. I think he's a good guy.

12. I think he is.

13. JK Rowling said "Never say never"

And now we know the answer to all of those questions.
