1. $5 t-shirts from Old Navy--we get them every year.
2. Flags, and personally I like the bunting
3. Fireworks, of course
4. Sparklers (my sister-in-law insists)
5. Hamburgers, hot dogs, or barbeque
6. Red, white, and blue everything
7. Late, loud nights.
8. Ice cream
9. Strawberries and blueberries--very patriotic
10. Swimsuits
11. The Lake--we meet up here every year.
12. Melting heat (although so far this year we have drizzle and cooler temps)
13. Family

I did mine on the 4th of July as well. How funny. I sat at the computer and had no idea what to do this weeks on and then the fire crackers started. :)

Sounds like you had a great holiday. We slept out at the Science Center again and now I'm exhausted.
All the things you list are mainly what I like about 4th of July...I hope you had fun with your family and seen pretty firework.

Wow, I wish we celebrated the 4th over here. It sounds wonderful!
Thank you for reminding me of fun times I've had. (This years fourth was spent at the day job). I forget, sometimes, there's more to life than work.
