I love all of these authors. Sandra Boyden is one of our favourites. The Going To Bed Book was my daughter's favourite story for the longest time. We also love Goodnight Moon.

Well, I haven't heard of any of these... But then, I don't have children yet.

When my kids were small, my favorite books to read to them were Audrey & Don Wood's--the illustrations are amazing, and the stories are cute.

Then came Jane Yolen's Commander Toad books--what a hoot.

Followed by Pratchett's Bromeliad and Johnny Maxwell series (Tiffany Aching wasn't out yet).

And now they've got me reading Jim Butcher's Codex Alera. We're almost finished with Academ's Fury and they unanimously requested Cursor's Fury next.

Time flies. :)

the only one on your list we've not read at our house is #8. my oldest had Boynton's The Going-To-Bed Book memorized when she was about three. a favorite of my son's (which is not on your list) is Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.

happy TT!

Those are all big favorites at our house, too! That Frances. That Ruby.

What a great list. While I don't have kids yet, I do a good bit of babysitting and love reading the kids stories at bedtime.

Happy TT!!
