It was basically in the 2nd grade when everyone was split between the believers and the non-believers. I was a believer. After Christmas, I found a barcode (not the sticker kind, the kind that's directly on the plastic case) on a mini deck of cards. I confronted my mum and she told me the truth. By the third grade, pretty much everyone didn't believe in Santa. I think it's just that age. BUT, we did have siblings, and our parents told us about keeping the story alive for our brothers and sisters, so that's what we all did. And to this day I still get stockings! I don't think you can change his mind at this point, but I would guess that talking to him like an adult about keeping the Santa Secret for his sib could work. Plus, what sibling doesn't like to know that they know something the other doesn't know?!Stephanie Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17097106257851318283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13449892.post-33220647490569918612007-12-12T06:59:00.000-08:002007-12-12T06:59:00.000-08:00'Tis the season to be frazzled. :) I don't have ...'Tis the season to be frazzled. :)

I don't have any brilliant ideas about the Santa issue--in our house, Santa didn't fill the stockings, he left one unwrapped present, so when the kids started questioning, nothing changed gift-wise--they still got the Santa gift and I answered all the "is there really a Santa" questions with "what do you think?"Darlahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08346619210375248680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13449892.post-42680438248124101062007-12-11T21:21:00.000-08:002007-12-11T21:21:00.000-08:00Well, I'm glad I stopped by because you didn't men...Well, I'm glad I stopped by because you didn't mention the keyless entry into the house thing this evening. :-)

Enjoyed visiting with you at the party tonight and I look forward to reading your book. I moved here in 1990.

Just to let you know, I'm frazzled this time of year, too. And, pressing the keyless entry to my door sounds like something I'd do, and it SHOULD work! We can multi-task, why can't our keys multi-function? That's all I'm sayin'contemporary themeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04810901901438064698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13449892.post-49679647083961646892007-12-11T20:54:00.000-08:002007-12-11T20:54:00.000-08:00Hey la la! Just wanted to say hi since I'm also a Texas Longhorn. I was there from 1984 to 1989.

I love that you self-published your book. I'm going to get a copy and read it. Love to support fellow longhorns!

Merry Christmas!contemporary themeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04810901901438064698noreply@blogger.com
